In order to ensure our long term success, Sehai Foods works hard as “busy bees’’ to maintain the highest ethical standards in all of our interactions with Customers, Co-op Members and Employees. We have designed processes and enacted specific control and employee empowerment policies to ensure the highest levels of corporate governance.

The operations are governed by a framework to ensure that appropriate controls are in place, and are monitored by Directors. The purpose of this framework is to ensure accountability of the Directors and Management to all stakeholders.

The diligent and hardworking honey bee produces a natural and nutritious product. We have emulated and adopted the same philosophy and ethos – “To be honest and true to our customers, diligently producing natural nutritious products, and never sacrificing quality”’. The culture of openness and collaboration is evident in the sourcing and production of all our products. Promotion of the company ethos is driven at all levels, and each member of the Sehai family (which extends to our co-ops) is a valuable member of our community.

Management Team

Sehai Foods was founded by two experienced individuals with a passion for start-ups, agriculture, and platform investment opportunities. Both founders have combined over 30 years of experience in a variety of sectors – FMCG, Consumer Durables, Educational Services, Technology, and Energy.

Founder ('The Calculator')

Ani is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and Corporate Treasurer (AMCT) and has worked both within industry and banking. He sits on the board of LANI Group and as a principal leads and develops business in various sectors of the economy. His business interest includes Axiom Learning Solutions, a learning and development company that provides integrated and seamless solutions within the Nigerian education and human capital sector. Ani earned a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hull and subsequently gained a Post Graduate Diploma in International Tax Law from the University of London. As a Subject Matter Expert in treasury and risk management for Sub Saharan Africa he authored The Nigeria Country Guide in the International Treasurers Handbook and The Asia Treasurers Handbook published by the JP Morgan and the Association of Corporate Treasurers (UK) for several years.

Founder ('The Fixer')

Ik holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and MS in Operations Research from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from the Stern School of Business, NYU.  He started his career as a product engineer and business analyst for Lucent Technologies in the Bell Labs Venture Group. In addition he gained diverse operational experience with PA Consulting and Arthur D. Little following his position at Bell Labs. Throughout his career Ik applied his experience from operations research in various scenarios, with a particular focus on optimization of processes across various service sectors including consumer products.

Operations Manager (“ Master Planner”)

Mr. Ajimotokan Ibrahim Abimbola is experienced personnel with over 14 years’ experience committed to planning and executing production schedule and management including material and human resources. He is well skilled in managing manufacturing procedures and processes to ensure products delivery on schedule while maintaining quality standards. Mr. Ibrahim efficiently collaborate with operations personnel to review inventory levels and to determine shifts in production areas. He is Proficient in the end to end supply-chain management, business management, maintenance management, risk assessment, schedule management, supply and demand planning, materials management, etc. Mr Ajimotokan Ibrahim Abimbola is a self-motivated professional with the ability to lead and deliver on an aggressive timeline.

His over 14 years of practical experience has seen him working with manufacturing companies like Unilag Ventures Nig. Ltd (manufacturers of Unilag sachet and bottled water), Friesland Campina WAMCO Nig. PLC, Promasidor Nig Ltd. and Eagle Industries (manufacturers of Kerrygold Milk) in various capacities. His most recent stint working as a General Manager has seen him handle responsibilities like the development of production guidelines and enforcing adherence to regulations/policies, supervision of various teams, and general operations management.

Mr. Ajimotokan has a B.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University Of Lagos, Nigeria.
